Her schooling was from Holy Child School and graduated from Asutosh College. Her parents are Arun and Tapashi Chakraborty. Her debut in movies was Bapi Bari Jaa and Champion in 2012. Her list of the movies became hits are Ki Kore Toke Bolbo, Gangster, Bojhena Se Bojhena etc. She also worked for television named Ganer Oparey in 2010. She won the rising star in 2013. Some of her best works are Posto and Dhanonjoy which were critically acclaimed.
